  The typical   NYS Court Officer Entrance Exam  is given once every four years. This can change however as needed by the department that initiates the exam process the Office of Court Administration. For example, when the   Covid 19 pandemic   started in 2020, the   Office of Court Administration   delayed the exam by a year due to mandatory procedures in terms of safety.
